The scheduled times we will need extras are as follows:

The rules (such as they are) are posted in the Games & Events section of the website. We’ll most likely have the judging on Saturday night, which gives you ample time to prepare your best recipes and deliver the appropriate bribes to the appropriate judges. Who will the judges be? That is a tightly-held secret, known only to those who must judge, or be judged…judge. They’ll be make abundantly clear once you arrive on-site at the con, so don’t worry

If you have a favorite waffle iron, please bring it along, as we will only have a couple to spare. NO HOT OIL DEEP FRYERS, PLEASE! Also, coolers to keep your ingredients fresh might be a good idea, as the rooms don’t have fridges; there is a Safeway grocery not too far away, and the hotel shuttle will take you there if you ask nicely (best get together and go as a group, so as to limit the number of side trips the driver has to take between the hotel and the airport.)

Nothing about the con nor its benefits has changed – we’re still filming, hosting a full slate of games, and building epic swag bags as our way of saying thanks to you.

If you already bought in at the $150 price, a refund for the $51 balance has already been processed; you should have it in your hands as we speak. For the rest of you, now there’s even LESS reason to delay. Get your tickets and book those rooms, before they really DO sell out!

What can you do to help? Right now, the best thing you can do is spread news of ZOECon 1 far and wide. Post it to Facebook, share it on Twitter, email all your friends and let them know about the most awesome con in the land. We are working around the clock to add more and more goodies to the con; if all goes as planned, the swag bag alone will be totally worth the cost of admission.
